Pro Football is back for the final game of the season and the Lyndon community will be brought together for the big game.
Super Bowl 50 is being held at Levi’s Stadium in San Francisco between the Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers.
While the players will be in California, the Lyndon State College Campus Activities Board is hosting a Super Bowl party Sunday night in the Moore Community Room.
The event will have pizza, cupcakes, games and prizes including commercial bingo, squares and a team spirit contest.
The Broncos, lead by Peyton Manning, are looking for their first championship win since 1998.
Denver finished on top of the AFC with a record of 12-4. The team fought their way out of many close games this season and are hoping to top the very formidable force, that is the Carolina Panthers.
Carolina is hoping to finish off a near perfect season, headed off by MVP candidate Cam Newton. The Panthers, who finished 15-1, are a clear favorite to win the first Super Bowl in franchise history.
Expect Cam Newton to dab up and down the field while Manning yells Omaha before every play.
The odds are in Carolina’s favor for the moment but anything can happen. It is the biggest game of the year.
CAB’s event will begin at 6 p.m. and the game will start at 6:30 p.m. on CBS.
